About The Project

Context of the Project Area

The Ethiopian higher education sector has grown rapidly. In 2004, there were only 4 universities. Today, there are 47 public universities throughout Ethiopia.

For years, a major challenge has been successfully transitioning graduates into the workforce. With very few universities conducting tracer studies, there is a distinct need for structured guidance and vocation planning.

"The project aims to equip Ethiopian Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) with the necessary tools and expertise to guide students in choosing study programs that align with their strengths and career aspirations."
